En esta entrada os proporcionamos páginas web donde podéis encontrar qué libros pueden resultarles más adecuados o llamativos a sus hijas e hijos para iniciarse o profundizar en la lectura en inglés. 
Hay mucha variedad ya que los niveles y los intereses son muy distintos. Lo mejor es permitir hojear los libros tranquilamente en tiendas como la FNAC y que decidan qué quieren leer, qué llama su atención... Podéis acudir juntos a la biblioteca de la zona o preguntar al en librerías del barrio, en busca de recomendaciones de algunos títulos. 
Antes de elegir cualquier libro es importante tener en cuenta los beneficios de la lectura en inglés para el alumnado de Tercero de Primaria:
1- Es una de las mejores formas para aprender vocabulario.
2- El aprendizaje del idioma se realiza de forma natural.
3- Es una buena forma de repasar todo lo aprendido anteriormente.
4- Permite conocer de forma práctica expresiones y estructuras gramaticales.
5- Refuerza sus conocimientos de la lengua oral.
Además, como hemos indicado, es esencial escuchar su opinióna la hora de elegir los libros de acuerdo con sus motivaciones o intereses.
Por último, es recomendable buscar aquellos libros dónde encuentren las leyendas PreA1, A1, Starters o Movers de Cambridge, puesto que representan los niveles más adecuados a la edad de vuestras hijas e hijos.

Future Plans and intentions To be + Going to + Verb




  • We use To Be + Going to + Verb when we talk about Future Plans and intentions in the future.
  • Remember that you have to use the verb TO BE, using the correct form with the different personal pronouns!!!
Examples:
  • I'm going to play with my friends in the park this evening.
  • She's going to go swimming this afternoon.
  • He's going to go rock climbing next weekend.
  • They're going to play chess this morning.
  • I’m going to be a teacher when I’m older.
  • He’s not going to play football anymore.
  • Are you going to buy a new T-shirt?
  • I’m going to write my homework tonight.
  • They’re going to watch a film this weekend.


Be careful! You can usually make the negative in two ways:


  • He isn’t going to ride a bike.
  • He’s not going to ride a bike.
  • They aren’t going to visit us.
  • They’re not going to visit us.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SUMMER


Aquí os dejo algunas recomendaciones para el verano, para que no se os olvide el inglés.

·        La 1º y más importante: ¡DESCANSAR, DESCONECTAR Y DISFRUTAR!  Habéis trabajado fenomenal durante todo el curso, y especialmente este último trimestre con lo raro que ha sido…¡asi que os lo habéis ganado!

·        Y luego, ya podéis ir haciendo pequeñas cositas para repasar o practicar:

·       👄SPEAKING: Hablar, hablar y hablar en inglés todo lo que podáis (con niños extranjeros que conozcáis en vuestras vacaciones, con vuestros hermanos/as, padres, familiares, grabaros en video contando algo…¡delante del espejo o con vuestros muñecos! ) Lo importante es practicar

·        👂LISTENING: Ver películas, dibujos, videos en inglés (tanto en la tele como en internet hoy día tenéis muchas opciones), escuchar canciones en inglés (¡y cantarlas y bailarlas! 😉)

·        📚READING: Lecturas en inglés…si no tenéis libros o acceso a la biblioteca, en internet podéis encontrar webs con libros o audiolibros en inglés a los que podéis acceder fácilmente: Storyline online,  ChildrenLibrary,  Free Kids Books,  Reading AZ…

·        ✍WRITING: Escribir un pequeño diario de las vacaciones, o terminar el día escribiendo tres cosas que han hecho que ese día sea especial, resumir un cuento o peli que hayas visto, escribir una carta o email a un amigo…

·        💻Además hoy en día las nuevas tecnologías son nuestras aliadas con el inglés. Hay multitud de webs y aplicaciones con las que podéis practicar… ¡solo un ratito! Podéis entrar en nuestro BLOG (tanto en las pestañas de English como en Science donde tienes muchos links a webs interesantes, videos o juegos a los que problablemente no has entrado durante el curso por falta de tiempo) , o en otras WEBS como Fun English Games,  LearnEnglish Kids (web del British Council), ESL games, MES games,  Duolingo….

   Recordad que son sugerencias o recomendaciones...no tenéis que hacerlas todas o todos los días... 😉
